"Zero years: the liquid dimension ", inherits from the 1990s, in addition to the persistent stylistic eclecticism that began in the mid-1980s, the centrality of technological progress, now finally reality, and not in progress as previously,
in terms of a real diffusion of the web and instant communication. This allows, in the Italian context, the stop of those pernicious phenomena of censorship through which a certain system succeeded in interdicting a whole series of artistic
and critical operators, denying them visibility, therefore the existence of the media, and guarantees greater pluralism and dissemination of phenomena in progress, or occurred in the recent past. This technological acceleration leads to a
"liquid" sociality, to relate a well-known term of the sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, probably abused as happens to the right intuitions, in which the community dimension and the modern concept of state disintegrate in the background of globalization,
and the only certainty is given by a condition of continuous apparent change where individualism prevails and, to quote the author, uncertainty is the only certainty.
